It was a great day for appreciation and giving in September when Triplett & Carothers made a donation to the University of Louisville Cardinal Marching Band (CMS).

The firm’s ongoing commitment to the CMS holds special meaning for firm founder Roz Carothers who is a lifelong musician and received a degree in music from U of L. The funds will be used for a game-day meal for the members of the band.

For over 80 years, the Cardinal Marching Band has proudly represented the University of Louisville as the most visible ensemble at the School of Music, performing live for over half a million spectators each year.

The CMB has been the  “Official Band for the KY Derby” since 1936 and has received national recognition through features on ESPN, ABC World News Tonight, Oprah, Sports Illustrated, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the NFL Network.
