Meet Brooks Alexander, Of Counsel

We are pleased to welcome Brooks Alexander to our firm as of counsel. Brooks brings decades of experience in estate planning as well as business succession planning to our clients, most recently working at Middleton Reutlinger which was one of Louisville’s best-known and oldest law firms.

Brooks often helps clients with the implementation and coordination of a comprehensive estate plan as well as business ownership succession plans and has been a speaker at estate planning seminars.

He has been ranked as AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and named a top lawyer in Louisville Magazine for trusts, wills, and estates law.

Prior to practicing law, Brooks worked as a Certified Public Accountant and tax specialist for the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Louisville, and both the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations.

He is a past member of the Boards of the Louisville Bar Foundation, the Home of the Innocents, the Widowed Persons Service, and the Anchorage Public Education Foundation.

His military service included a year in a Vietnamese fishing village as an Advisor to a South Vietnamese Junk Force Group.

Brooks received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky – where he played on the freshman basketball team —  and his law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Kentucky.
