If it has been a while since your revocable trust was signed, this summer is a good time to make sure everything is still in order.
For more than 25 years, Triplett & Carothers has helped clients create revocable trusts as part of their estate plans. Just as important as signing the trust, however, is making sure your assets are properly connected to it.
Many times over the years, assets have changed since the initial funding of the trust. Additionally, laws have also changed, meaning that assets today are funded differently than they were five or more years ago. What that means is that your trust may not work as intended.
This summer, we are offering a Trust Funding Review Consultation for $500. During this meeting, you will work with our trust attorney, Jordan Olinger, to review your trust funding, identify any gaps, and discuss what, if anything, may need to be updated.
If, after the review, you need our firm to assist with additional work after the consultation, we will provide a fee quote based on the amount of work involved.
